KHC Programs

History Alive offers a unique blend of education and entertainment when costumed presenters give first-person characterizations of famous people from history and literature.

Journey Stories, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition coming to six Kansas communities in 2009 and 2010.

Kansas-Nebraska Chautauqua, a three-year Chautauqua traveling to 2 Kansas communities each June. The theme is Bright Dreams, Hard Times: America in the Thirties.

KITES – Kansas Interpretive Traveling Exhibit Service provides high-quality exhibits for local viewing.

New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition, tours in six Kansas communities from March 14 - December 28, 2008.

Prime Time Family Reading Time is a reading and discussion program for families.

The Speakers Bureau features informative and entertaining talks of popular interest.

TALK About Literature in Kansas offers libraries and other groups facilitated book discussion programs.
