looking at the overlooked - Exhibition
September 9, 2017
Using common and everyday materials, artists fabricate works that expand our perceptions of history, representation, class, violence, resistance, and cultural practice.
The exhibition is part of Wichita's citywide initiative "Candid Conversations: A Discussion of Race in Wichita," this project invites speakers and artists to examine material culture and representation within the context of race and suppression.
