Kansas Architecture: Reflections of Culture
April 2, 2017, 2:00 PM CT
The Kansas Architecture series will reflect on some of the ways Kansans have come to build and live on the prairie. The series consists of four monthly meetings of lectures, readings, discussions, and cultural enhancement. We will examine Native American and early settler use of sod, the building of churches and courthouses; opera houses and baseball stadiums as sites of diversion; and modern day metal building and green construction.
