Nerd Nite is a bimonthly public event series during which several folks give 18-21-minute fun-yet-information presentations. Topics include history, science, art, and pop culture.

Amanda Wahlmeier, Curator for the National Orphan Train Complex in Concordia, Kansas, will discuss the history of Orphan Trains in the late 19th Century.

Also, Agronomist Austin Bontrager will discuss soil conservation and journalist Kevin Dilmore explores the rise of Geek culture.
