The Kansas Humanities Council is currently seeking nominations for service on its 22-member Board of Directors. Nominations are due April 6, 2012.

Members serve for a three-year term with the possibility of renewal for a second term. Business meetings of the full board are held three times a year in locations across the state. Members have financial oversight of the organization, take an active role in fundraising, set policy, are knowledgeable about the humanities, and promote awareness of the council. In addition to board meetings, members also serve on a standing committee that meets as needed. Click here for more information about board responsibilities.

Individuals may nominate themselves or others for board service.
